28 Days Later… 2002

Legendary director Danny Boyle’s 28 Days Later film is as much of a legend among horror films as its director. The film, which was released in Turkish cinemas on July 11, 2003, offers a wonderful viewing experience with a runtime of 113 minutes. Written by Alex Garland, the film stars British actors Cillian Murphy, Naomie Harris, and Christopher Eccleston. With a rating of 7.7, it can be guessed how magnificent and rare of a production it is for a horror film. Filmed in the United Kingdom, the 28 Days Later film was made with only a $5 million budget and made around $82 million in revenue from the moment it hit theaters until it was taken down.

A little different from the zombie films we are used to, the film follows the story of a dangerous virus spreading throughout England. The source of the virus comes from diseased chimpanzees used in experiments, and anyone exposed to this virus is in very bad shape. Healthy individuals who fight against the virus will not only have to fight against the virus, but also against all those affected by the virus, and this battle will be very difficult to end. We will also have the opportunity to take a closer look at the lives of a group of people who are fighting for survival for a full 28 days.
