King Xerxes of Persia, confident in his powerful army accustomed to winning battles, sets his sights on the Greek Kingdoms. Aware of the formidable force they are up against, the King of Sparta gathers his bravest 300 soldiers to face the Persians in battle at Thermopylae. Trained as warriors since childhood, these 300 soldiers are prepared to fight their greatest battle, even though death is inevitable. With great courage and strength, they stand firm against the enemy, while also waiting for the council to realize their mistake in not sending the army to war. Adapted from Frank Miller’s graphic novel, “300 Spartans” is a film directed by Zack Snyder.
