40 Days and 40 Nights 2002
Matt Sullivan’s (Josh Hartnett) last relationship ended in disaster and he has been in pain ever since. Then Lent comes around: the time of year when everyone gives up something. And this year, Matt decides to do something no one has ever tried before. He leaves behind one thing in his life: sex. No touching, kissing, flirting, etc. For a full 40 days, Matt will abstain from all of the above. At first, everything seems under control, but when Erica (Shannyn Sossamon) enters his life, everything changes. Now, as everyone bets that Matt won’t be able to finish what he started, Matt struggles to hold on and hopes that Erica will wait for him.
