After years, Paraguay’s first commercial film became a box office hit in the country, despite not featuring flashy cars or big explosions. Compared to Slumdog Millionaire, this chase thriller showcases the reality of Paraguay through a adventurous day in the life of 17-year-old Victor. Victor, who works as a porter with a handcart in the streets where poverty takes its toll without blinking an eye, dreams of seeing himself on TV one day. He agrees to carry seven wooden crates, unaware of their contents, in order to buy a camera phone he admires. As the police, rival porters, and his employer chase after him, the only thing that matters to him is first his own life, then placing the crates.
