In a town where drought has taken hold, a Spanish family is blessed with an impossible miracle and names their son Sailboat. Sailboat brings new bonds of love and hope within the family and one day shows up in the American Southwest with a small guitar in hand. From that moment on, Sailboat and his guitar become inseparable, until his mother, who is gravely ill, asks him to write a song for her. Sailboat vows to write the most perfect song ever written for his mother.
