A Civil Action 1998
Based on a true story, the legal thriller film A Civil Action follows the journey of an ambitious lawyer who embarks on a personal battle that will evolve into a complex legal fight. Jan Schlichtmann represents eight families against two of the country’s largest corporations. The companies are accused of contaminating the drinking water of Woburn, Massachusetts, leading to the indirect deaths of eight children from leukemia.
