The film is set in 19th century America. Major Cabot wants to take away the fertile lands with gold mines from the Native Americans and does not give them a chance to live with their followers. As the situation escalates, Colonel Pembroke is sent to inspect the United States Army. Major Cabot ambushes and kills the colonel. Now, with no obstacle in his way, he is determined to reach the Indian gold. Meanwhile, a stranger who quickly draws his gun and thanks himself as “Joe Thanks” (Terence Hill) arrives in town. He is the only one who knows what is happening in the town and what the Indians are going through. He will make a series of plans to corner Major Cabot. This requires someone to take Colonel Pembroke’s place at the helm. His old friend, the fast thief Locomotive Bill (Robert Charlebois), and his girlfriend Lucy (Miu Miu); like Colonel Pembroke and his daughter, he also sends them to Cristobal Castle with a convoy.
