A Good Year 2006
Confident and sensual handsome stockbroker Max Skinner makes big money by speculating on the London Stock Exchange. After his latest conquest, he receives news of the death of his great uncle living in France. Max, who has fond childhood memories of his eccentric uncle, investigates what life would be like at the chateau. His future in London will change, maybe leaving everything behind. He strikes a deal with the castle’s thirty-year caretaker, Francis Duflo, and his wife Ludivine. They begin to renovate the castle, but Duflo never wants it to be sold and the grapes he cherishes to fall into the wrong hands. Meanwhile, an unexpected and unknown relative emerges – Christy Roberts, a Californian girl claiming to be his uncle’s illegitimate daughter. Max tries to keep the secret of his struggling wealth and the castle escapes him. On the other hand, he falls in love with a beautiful girl from Provence. The taste of love is like wine, blending into the bloodstream as quickly as wine does.
