A Love Song 2022
Director Max Walker Silverman’s lyrical debut follows two childhood sweethearts, both widowed, spending the night by a mountain lake. The storytelling may not be groundbreaking in the current landscape of cinema, but Silverman’s direction manages to be both natural and poignant at the same time. With stunning cinematography and truly excellent sound design, Silverman keeps the film moving forward and truly makes the audience feel like they’re going crazy.
