Relentless street tactics lead to two cops, Sean Vetter (Vin Diesel) and his partner Demetrius Hicks (Larenz Tate), known as “The Gunslingers,” going all out along the US-Mexico border to tackle drug trafficking. Their battle against DEA agents (foreign agents of Narcotics) will bear fruit as they capture Memo Lucero (Gene Silva), one of the key figures in the Bach cartel. After Lucero is locked up in a maximum-security prison, Vetter can finally return to his wife, who is hiding away from the harsh realities of his job. But shortly after Lucero’s arrest, a mysterious figure known only as Diablo emerges. Vetter and Hicks set out to find and stop this dangerous and elusive new player, Diablo, who personalizes the war and takes away Vetter’s wife, Stacey, the only person who gives meaning to his life. With nothing left to lose, Vetter starts using all his secret resources to capture Diablo, including Lucero in prison. Nothing can stop Vetter from avenging his wife. Struggling dangerously between justice and lawlessness, Vetter is determined to take revenge on the police force he dedicated his life to.
