Maggie and Chef Karsten are food anthropology experts living a seemingly perfect life as a model family. In addition to being perfect parents, they also dream of opening Denmark’s most ambitious restaurant. Despite their friends thinking this dream is futile, they challenge them and go ahead to open the restaurant.
