Sammy, a sea turtle born on a beach in California, meets a cute baby turtle named Shelly who is trying to swim in the ocean shortly after hatching. Finding and losing the love of your life is one thing. During the epic ocean journey that all turtles must take before returning to the beach where they were born, Sammy overcomes all dangers in the hope of meeting Shelly again.
