A.X.L. is a highly secret, robotic dog created by the military to assist in protecting the future soldiers. Programmed by the scientists who created him, A.X.L. represents Attack, Exploration, Logistics, and the most advanced, next-generation artificial intelligence. After a failed experiment, he hides in the desert until he is found by Miles, a kind-hearted boy who manages to activate the ownership-link technology by communicating with him.
