Aferim! 2015
In the early 19th century in the town of Wallachia in Romania, a police officer named Costandin is hired by a nobleman to capture a runaway slave named Carfin who has stolen money from the nobleman and fled with his wife Sultana. Costandin, along with his teenage son Lonita, embarks on a journey filled with various adventures to find the fugitive slave. Along the way, he will have to be tough and ruthless at times.
