La folie Almayer 2011
Almayer marries a Malaysian woman in hopes of becoming very rich. They have a daughter named Nina, but Almayer is never happy. He feels like a misplaced time traveler. His only hope is his friend Captain Lingard saving him from this life. However, Lingard’s sudden death puts that hope on hold. As a last resort, Almayer sets out to find the mining fields Lingard left behind, using the excuse of taking his daughter to Europe.
