American Hustle 2013
In this true story set in the 1970s, master con artist Irving Rosenfeld (Irving Rosenfeld) and his partner Sydney Prosser (Amy Adams) are arrested by a talented FBI agent. In order to avoid jail time, they agree to work for the FBI. Their task is to identify and catch other con artists like themselves. Together with Agent Dimaso and his team, they plan a large-scale con involving the most famous gamblers in Atlantic City. What starts off as a brilliant plan soon spirals out of control. Directed by David O. Russell and starring Jennifer Lawrence, Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper, Amy Adams, and Jeremy Renner, this film is a must-watch.
