Octavio, a young boy, decides to run away with his brother’s wife Susana. Their escape is facilitated by a ruthless mediator named Kofi, who also plays a role in getting the money for their getaway. This love triangle becomes more complicated as their forbidden passion leads them down an irreversible path. Meanwhile, 42-year-old Daniel leaves his wife and daughters to live with the beautiful model Valeria. However, their new life takes a tragic turn when Valeria is involved in a terrible accident. As Daniel’s life is suddenly turned upside down, he must grapple with the consequences of his actions. The disappearance of Richie, their small dog, sets off a chain of events that will change their lives forever. El Chivo, a former communist guerrilla and disillusioned hitman, arrives at the accident scene and finds Octavio’s dying dog Kofi. Taking the dog in, he begins to confront his painful past and find redemption.
