Marine biologist Skylar Shane teams up with boat captain Jack Bowman to research prehistoric life forms off the coast of North Sumatra. During their journey, they come across a fishing platform in the middle of the sea where they meet a young orphan named Tamal. Tamal pleads for Skylar to help him escape from his uncle, a sorcerer who sold him into servitude on the platform. As strange events unfold with Tamal’s arrival, they realize the growing horror lurking beneath the dark waters…
