An Inconvenient Truth 2006
The documentary titled An Inconvenient Truth, directed by Davis Guggenheim, was shown in Turkey on February 2, 2007. The film sheds light on the alarming aspects of global warming, a never-ending issue worldwide, through the efforts of former US Vice President Al Gore during the Clinton era. Al Gore, who narrowly lost to Bush in the 2000 presidential elections, shifted all his energy to the issue of global warming. He conducted intensive research on the dangers posed by global warming and made great efforts to stop people from unconsciously engaging in actions that contribute to it.
