Angelo 2018
The film tells the life story of the mysterious Angelo Soliman, who was kidnapped from Africa at a young age to be made a slave, but later baptized and taken to the palace where he secretly married a white woman. The concepts of homeland, belonging, and alienation are explored in the film as we witness how Angelo, who came as a slave, later became a respected figure in Viennese high society.
