Annie 2014
Annie, a young African American girl, lives with her cruel foster mother who hates her. Despite her difficult circumstances, Annie is mature and resilient for her age, having learned to be optimistic and strong due to being an orphan. Her luck changes when she meets a young politician named Benjamin Stacks, who suddenly takes an interest in adopting her. Stacks, a strong candidate in the mayoral race, sees Annie as the child he wants to adopt.
