Around the World in 80 Days 2004
Jules Verne’s 80 Days Around the World film adaptation follows Passepartout’s journey to China to retrieve a stolen sacred object from his village. His companion is Fielas Fogg, a daring inventor who bets his fame and career on traveling around the world in 80 days. They are pursued by the President of the Royal Academy of Sciences, Lord Kelvin, who must stop them. If Fogg wins, he faces power and wealth loss and is willing to do whatever it takes. Beautiful young French actress Monique de Graves joins Passepartout and Fogg, believing she will find her lost inspiration during their travels. As they race against time around the world, they meet a variety of characters, encountering excitement, danger, love, and fun events along the way.
