Joaquín is a wheelchair-bound engineer who is living in his mortgaged house. In order to save his home, he rents out a room to a stripper named Berta and her 6-year-old daughter Betty. Joaquin’s life takes a turn for the better after the accident that took the lives of his wife and daughter. However, one night, while repairing a computer on the ground floor, Joaquin begins to hear strange noises. Putting his ear to the wall, he realizes that the sounds are coming from robbers digging a tunnel to rob a bank. Upon learning of their plan, Joaquin takes action to thwart the robbers.
