Backtrace 2018
The only survivor of a bank heist, MacDonald, is captured and sent to prison after being injured in a shootout. Suffering from severe memory loss, he is confined to the prison’s psychology department. After spending 7 years inside, MacDonald agrees to a fellow inmate’s offer to escape. Given a special drug to regain his memory, he sets out to uncover the buried $15 million from his past. Meanwhile, a police officer, an FBI agent, and the dangerous side effects of the drug all threaten his mission. Directed by Brian A. Miller, the 2018 Canadian-American co-production “Backtrace” stars Sylvester Stallone and was released on December 14, 2018.
