Two close friends, Juliano and Joaquin, are influenced by news they read in the newspapers and decide to venture into the depths of the Amazon Forest to work in the large gold mine of Serra Pelada. In no time, they have set up a small business, but the rapid arrival of wealth and power begins to quickly change their lives.
