Ballon 2018
In 1979 East Germany, two families come up with a crazy plan to escape the Democratic Republic of Germany and head to the West. Determined to make their escape, they decide to build a homemade hot air balloon. After weeks of hard work, they make their first attempt and manage to take off. However, their balloon gets weighed down by heavy rain and they crash before reaching West Germany. Despite this setback, they refuse to give up and are determined to try again.
