Two losers from Milwaukee, Coop & Remer (Parker & Stone), invent a new basketball game based on baseball rules. The game becomes a huge success and with the help of a billionaire, they turn it into a professional league where no team changes its city and players receive equal pay. Their team, the Milwaukee Beers, stands as the only obstacle against the league president of the Dallas Felons (Vaughn) changing the rules of the league. The game, based on baseball rules, invented by Joe “Coop” Cooper & Doug Reimer (Parker & Stowe), becomes popular nationwide. The club owner (Vaughn) who is in favor of the champion Dallas team, wants to buy Coop & Reimer’s team, the Milwaukee Bears, and move them to Jacksonville.
