Teenager Ethan falls in love with a mysterious girl who has just moved to his hometown. However, Lena, the girl he falls for, has a unique trait compared to other high school students – her family and entire lineage are actually witches. According to the rules, all young witches over the age of 16 must choose between good and evil. Lena’s 16th birthday is only 2 months away. Some elders of the family claim they can choose the good side, while most believe that the curse has already begun and Lena will inevitably be on the dark side with bad people, whether she wants to or not. In fact, Lena has a more powerful magic than some of the ancient witches. Despite all the ups and downs, her love for Ethan is never accepted. The movie, this time adapted to the big screen by Hollywood, is based on the series of novels of the same name by Cami Garcia and Margaret Stoll. The cast includes stars like Alice Englert, Alden Ehrenreich, Emma Thompson, Jeremy Irons, Emmy Rossum, Viola Davis, and Thomas Mann.
