Dubai Audience Awards 2012 In the early 1990s, Iraq was not a place to live. But there is another side of Iraq with war and Saddam Hussein, and that is hope. Inspired by director Karzan Kader’s own childhood, the film tells the story of two homeless siblings. Zana and Dana are homeless Kurdish siblings who decide to go to America after seeing Superman at the city’s first cinema. When they arrive in America, Superman will solve all their problems, make their lives easier, and punish all the bad guys, starting with Saddam. They need a passport, money, and a lot of luck to go to America. But they didn’t give up. They went towards their dreams.
