Beneath the Planet of the Apes 1970
At the end of the first film, Taylor and Nova realize that they are not on a foreign planet but in a devastated future world. They continue their journey to the Forbidden Zone, where they are joined by an astronaut named Brent who has come to search for Taylor. Brent somehow learns that Taylor has gone missing in the Forbidden Zone. In reality, Taylor is being held captive by a group of humans living in underground tunnels. These strange people have developed a bizarre religion and possess telepathic abilities, while the apes are on the verge of invading the Forbidden Zone. There is a powerful weapon that could end everything, but it seems like it will lead to the complete destruction of the planet this time.
