Suffering from the threat to her kidneys, she forms a bond with Gabriel (Henry Zaga), one of the doctors on her treatment team. With the support of the older man, the young woman gains confidence; struggling to play piano pieces in a symphony that is garnering admiration in Sao Paulo.
