In the film “Big Eyes,” directed by the renowned filmmaker Tim Burton, we follow the life struggles of American artist Margaret Keane and her husband Walter Keane in the 1950s. Margaret’s talent for painting children with big eyes is noticed by everyone, but Walter takes credit for her work and becomes obsessed with fame and fortune. Margaret fights against her husband’s control and struggles to assert her own identity as an artist.
