In the story set in England in 1984, we go back to a time when miners in the North region went on strike due to their dissatisfaction with the way they were being employed. On the other hand, an 11-year-old boy named Billy Elliot, although young in age, has a very mature personality compared to his peers. He participates in the strikes organized with his brother and father, making decisions like an adult. One day, when he tells his family that he wants to quit boxing and start doing ballet, his family will oppose him but there will also be those who support his decision.
