A traffic accident uncovers horrific truths! Jack Terry (Travolta) is a talented sound engineer. He makes a living by recording unique sounds for horror films, but one day he unwillingly records the sound of a car crash that kills a presidential candidate. The same car also carries the candidate’s young and beautiful mistress, Sally (Nancy Allen), who is critically injured. Jack suddenly finds himself immersed in a life filled with secrets and fears as intense as in his films. Soon, only one of Jack and Sally will survive as this scandal hits with the force of a shockwave.
