The Bodyguards and Assassins is a 2009 film set in China where people from all walks of life come together to fight against the oppressive Manchu Qing Dynasty. D. Sun is set to support the revolution in Hong Kong, but the dynasty has hired numerous assassins to prevent him from doing so. Revolutionaries risk their lives to protect Dr. Sun and help him complete his mission, leading to a deadly race between assassins and bodyguards on the streets of Hong Kong.
