Bottle Shock 2008
“Şişe Şok” tells the true story of how California’s Napa Valley wines suddenly became world famous. Expert Stephen Spurrier (Alan Rickman) believes that French wines cannot be compared to world wines. When rumors reach him that California wines are close to surpassing French wines, he invites Americans to a tasting competition. However, as he gets to know Napa Valley and ambitious wine merchants like Jim Barrett (Bill Pullman) and his son Beau (Chris Pine), Spurrier realizes something: he actually organized this event just to make a documentary that would leave a mark on the wine history with its commercials.
