Boy Erased 2018
In a small town, Baptist preacher’s son Jared Eamons must overcome the challenges that come after coming out as gay to his family. His parents struggle to reconcile their love for their son with their beliefs. Afraid of losing his family and friends, Jared is forced to attend a conversion therapy program. There, he clashes with the group’s leader and begins a journey to accept his true self. Directed by Joel Edgerton, the 2018 US-Australia co-production Boy Erased stars seasoned actors Nicole Kidman and Russell Crowe in this biographical drama. It was released on November 8, 2018.
