Growing up in the ghettos of Los Angeles, Donut and Ricky, despite their different physiques, are as close as brothers. Later, Tre joins them and they try to prove themselves in their neighborhood. The young men try to gain name and reputation by getting involved in all kinds of crimes, but the life they choose will not always go as they thought. Leaning on the suburbs of the United States and depicting the naked face of the street, the film was nominated for two Oscars. Directed by John Singleton at a very young age, the shocking performance captures the brutal side of life that it presents to some people successfully.
