Brain on Fire 2016
Susannah Cahalan, a young woman who loses her sanity, is the subject of a story in the US-made film “Brain On Fire” in 2016. Starring Chloë Grace Moretz, Thomas Mann, and Richard Armitage. The young woman is a journalist working at the New York Post and starts experiencing serious health problems. She has unexplained seizures and hears voices that aren’t there. She sees many doctors and receives many misdiagnoses until she finally finds the doctor who can help her get her life back on track. But one day, she wakes up in the hospital having completely forgotten the last month of her life and must fight a battle to fill in the gaps in her memory.
