Breathless 1983
Young car thief Jesse, on the run from Las Vegas to Los Angeles in a stolen car, shoots a police officer. Trying to escape to Mexico, Jesse wants to take along French student Monica, whom he has met and fallen in love with in just a few days. As the police close in, the escape continues and Monica, who sees Jesse’s crime in the newspaper, reports him to the police.
