Bride of Frankenstein

Storyline

The Bride of Frankenstein 1935

Lord Byron, writer Mary Shelley and her husband Percy argue on a stormy day. Mary argues that “Frankenstein” is not just a simple horror story, but a deep work that illuminates the human soul, and that the story does not end with the death of a monster, but continues. She begins to tell: Indeed, Frankenstein’s monster survives the fire that ends everything. Escaping from the hateful looks of people, he continues to bring destruction and death to the places where he seeks revenge. Meanwhile, Dr. Frankenstein realizes that his mentor Dr. Pretorius is continuing his mad experiments. A scientist who takes on the role of God this time wants to create a female creature. And thus a new monster is born: a terrifying woman that some will call the Bride of Frankenstein. The monster thinks he has found a mate this time and pursues the bride, but when she rejects him, she will tell him that he has no place in this world. The actors who brought the 1931 classic to life come together again to make what will be considered the biggest film in the series. Director James Keith and Boris Karloff are here with all their might. Elsa Lanchester brings writer Mary Shelley and The Bride to life.
