Former police officer and private detective Billy Taggart is hired by New York City Mayor Nicholas Hostetler to track down his estranged wife Emily Barlow. As Taggart delves into his investigation, he finds himself entangled in mysterious circumstances. Getting closer to the Mayor’s business and personal life, Taggart uncovers a major scandal that will ultimately turn him into formidable enemies.
