In 18th century France, an unexplained creature is killing everyone, including women and children. The locals of Gevardon region claim it is a demon from hell. The government, unable to comprehend what is happening, decides to form a group to investigate. A biologist, a botanist, and a philosopher are sent to the region to research and capture the creature. And so, an exciting discovery begins.
