Laura Pickler, a strong competitor in a traditional oil painting sculpture contest in a small Iowa town. Her original and intricate designs, and her determination to never lose her top spot, are put to the test when she comes across a small African American girl named Destiny. Destiny, who has come to town as an adopted child, has won over everyone who doesn’t love Laura. To make matters worse, Laura discovers that her husband has been cheating on her with a stripper. Brooke, a talented artist in fate and oil painting, is causing Laura some tough times in city life! A hilarious comedy with an absurd plot, American Way of Life is directed by Jim Field Smith and written by Jason A. Micallef.
