By the Sea 2015
With a filming budget of 2.5 million dollars, the 2015 film By The Sea was directed and written by the beautiful actress Angelina Jolie, who also stars alongside Brad Pitt. Another female actress in the film is the lovely French actress Mélanie Laurent. Set in a seaside town in France in the 1970s, the story follows a couple, Roland and his wife, who are going through a crisis in their marriage. Hoping to make a change, they plan to spend the summer in a hotel. Roland, a writer struggling with productivity, believes the change of scenery will help. However, as they spend time at the hotel, they only drift further apart. The arrival of a new couple, François and Lea, at the same time will begin to change Roland and Vanessa’s perspective on their marriage.
