Student Helen Lyle learns about a terrifying legend called Candyman. A hook-handed serial killer who appears when you look in the mirror and say his name five times. Curiosity gets the best of her and she starts researching, unknowingly getting caught up in a deadly game. Ignoring warnings from local authorities, a series of gruesome murders begin to unfold.
