Captain Phillips 2013
In the spring of 2009, the American cargo ship Alabama sets sail for the open seas under the command of Captain Phillips. When faced with a pirate threat, the captain decides to take a different route to avoid danger, but unexpectedly, the pirates find an opportunity to attack. After a struggle, the pirates manage to take control of the ship. What sets this attack apart is that American ships have not faced such a threat in 200 years. With years of experience under his belt, Captain Richard devises a plan and cleverly hides his crew, sacrificing himself to become a hostage. A psychological battle ensues between the captain and the leader of the pirates, Muse. As tensions rise, a rescue team sets out to save the ship, heightening the suspense even further.
