Five women regularly meet at a beauty salon in Beirut. Lalaleh loves Rabih, who is married. Nisrin, a Muslim woman, is terrified of her upcoming wedding because she is not a virgin. Rima cannot help but flirt with her clients, especially a man with long hair. Jameil refuses to accept that she is aging. Rose has spent her life taking care of her sick sister. The salon is where these unique and beautiful women come together to talk about motherhood, love, and sex, amidst their never-ending decoration efforts.
