Jon Baker (Shepard) and Frank Ponch Poncherello (Peña) have recently joined the California Highway Patrol (CHP) in Los Angeles, but for very different reasons. Baker is a washed-up former professional motorcyclist trying to piece his life and marriage back together. Meanwhile, Poncherello is a undercover FBI agent investigating a multi-million dollar heist within the CHP. Forced to team up, the inexperienced rookie and the seasoned pro clash, but becoming a real team won’t be easy. With Baker’s unique biking skills and Ponch’s street smarts, it just might be possible.
