Heart surgeon Dr. Rice loses his confidence when he unexpectedly loses a patient on the operating table. Angel Seth, wandering in Los Angeles, decides to help him regain his confidence after being moved by Maggie, a patient who died at the same time. Seth falls in love with her and eventually gives up being an invisible spirit to become a doubtful stranger. Maggie, who doesn’t believe in fate, falls deeply in love with Seth.
